Great shakedown night

What a great night! There were a variety of conditions and wind speeds, including a slow-down and reversal of the flow to ESE for a bit that made us think we'd have to call off the rest of the night...but then flow sped up and reversed to NNWly,  giving us lots of beautiful wakes that persisted much further downwind than expected. Here's a sample. Looking forward to looking at this data in much more detail!

In the left panel we see velocities from HRDL, red is highest value. The turbine at ~ 1km is the white rectangle, and that long stream to the SSE of lower velocities (yellow) would be the wake.

  1. That is an amazing wake! This morning we saw wakes ~500 m. But those are amazing.
