NWTC Observations - winds picking up
In the last half hour or so (13:00 local, onwards) winds measured at M2 have picked up, rising to 8-10 m/s at all levels up to 80 m above ground. Air temperatures have also increased 3-4 degrees at all heights. This is coupled with the wind swinging to 270 at 80 m, and a clearing of the sky from more or less 8/8 cover to 2-4/8 at a few thousand feet over Boulder depending on direction. There's still high cloud in evidence, but it would appear that we're seeing a fairly rapid change locally. Is this John's 2 PM MDT ramp?

Andy, these plots are really helpful. Thanks for posting them. John's 2pm forecast was right on!
