Wx forecast update 18Z W 13 Apr

This mrng's 1200 UTC model runs show trend toward more pcpn with this event and a shorter period of wind Th - Th evening. I'm still comfortable with the 2pm MDT start time, but am backing off on strong winds (i.e., gusts > 18m/s at 10m) continuing past mid-evening on Th.

For Friday, it is looking to me as if the westerly momentum available to mix down to the surface during the daytime hours will be more abundant late in the daytime hours, and that before late morning the 10m winds are likely to be < 8 m/s, possibly from the SE.
